The eleventh season also has a number of events. So far, it is clear that these are GO Battle Day: Mankey, GO Battle Weekend and Pokémon GO World Championships. However, the highlight of this season is Pokémon GO Fest 2022. In a YouTube video, this event was announced.

GO Battle Day: Mankey

GO Battle Day: Mankey will be on June 18. On this day, it is possible to play as many as 100 battles, instead of the usual number of 20. In addition, you will get four times stardust from win rewards. On this day Mankey will appear as a reward encounter between 11:00 and 14:00. If you manage to evolve Mankey during or two hours after this event (between 11:00 and 14:00), Primape will learn the charged attack cross chop.

Furthermore, special research is active during this GO Battle Day. This will earn you XP, Rare Candy, Bea-Style Gloves and an Elite Charge TM. During this event, the Master League and Fossil Cup are active.

Community Days

Community Days are one of the most fun events in Pokémon GO. In the eleventh season, we can once again hunt for special Pokémon. Which ones are they? That's not yet entirely clear. However, we can already tell you that you should keep the following days free:

  • June 25
  • July 17
  • August 13

Season 11 rewards

Playing matches in the various leagues and cups is not something you do for free. You can count on getting rewards for achieving certain ranks. These include candy, stardust, and other items. But, the most fun are the Pokémon encounters. There are a number of guaranteed encounters when you achieve certain ranks. These include the following Pokémon:

  • Rank 1: Machamp
  • Rank 6: Mienfoo
  • Ace rank: Axew
  • Veterank rank (2500): Noibat
  • Legend rank (3000): Pikachu Libre

In addition, there are a number of Pokémon that you may encounter when gaining a rank. Which ones these are is different for everyone. With some of these Pokémon it is possible to encounter a shiny one. Again, of course, this is completely random. Here are all the possibilities:

  • Rank 1: Skarmory, Skwovet, Litwick, Meditite, Poliwag or Wingull.
  • Rank 11: Lickitung, Hitmontop, Karrablast, Frillish or Shelmet.
  • Rank 16: Falinks, Pancham or Absol.
  • Rank 20: Five-Star Raid Boss

Additionally, by playing the Pokémon GO Battle League, you will earn various avatar items. Upon reaching rank 3, you will receive Pickachu Libre items. You can also earn avatar items and a pose inspired by Bea, a gym leader in Pokémon Sword. This includes a complete outfit completed with gloves, a headband and a pose.
