Rainbow Six Mobile arrives, here's how to try it out

Operators and dynamics confirmed, Ubisoft announces the Closed Alpha.

The announcement was already in the air and in recent days it has materialized: Rainbow Six Siege will also have a mobile version. The famous shooter from Ubisoft will arrive on smartphones and tablets both iOS and Android. In its most essential part, the game will maintain the same dynamics. A five-on-five that will feature attackers and defenders. Drones, destructible walls, destructible floors and cameras.

Operators with unique abilities, weapons and gadgets will play a key role. Confirmed at launch Ash, Sledge, Twitch, Thermite, Hibana, Caveira, Bandit, Smoke, Valkyrie and Mute. The game will also feature iconic maps such as Bank and Border. „At first glance,“ the developers let us know, „many might think it's incredibly similar to Siege. Essentially, Rainbow Six Mobile is a competitive tactical shooter for two teams of five. While the basic game dynamics, characters and maps share quite a few similarities with Siege, we've rebuilt everything from the ground up with mobile usability in mind.“

How to sign up for the Closed Alpha

After more than three years of development, Ubisoft Montreal has decided to announce Rainbow Six Mobile and begin the actual testing phase with players. The goal is to develop the best Rainbow Six experience on mobile devices and to do so, the community's help will be fundamental. In the coming weeks, in fact, there will be many live tests and a Closed Alpha to which you can already subscribe. A limited sample of players, therefore, will try all the key features such as the basic game mechanics, server stability and online infrastructure. During the test, the development team will collect feedback and suggestions.

What are the prospects for Rainbow Six esports?

Thinking about an esports section, meanwhile, is not currently one of Ubisoft's goals. Despite the fact that the e-sports market is moving towards mobile titles, Rainbow Six Siege will remain the nerve center. In the future, however, never say never.
