LA Guerillas win the CDL Warzone Resurgence tournament

The Warzone Resurgence tournament has been won by LA Guerillas. Big names from the Call of Duty community, such as Karma, Censor and Swagg participated in the tournament. Still, fans saw live on YouTube that HusKerrs, Apathy, UnRationaL and ScummN on Rebirth Island were the strongest.

As many as 20 teams competed for decent cash prizes on April 24. The Warzone tournament was organized by the Call of Duty League, which meant that all teams from the Call of Duty League participated. The other eight places were for the best teams from the qualifying rounds.

The fact that LA Guerillas won does not mean that they played preserved and therefore finished winning most of the matches. After all, in the Warzone Resurgence tournament of the Call of Duty League, you gain points based on kills. These kills are then multiplied based on your final ranking in a match.

For each opponent you take out, you get one point. This is multiplied by two if a team finishes first. If a team finishes second or third, each point is multiplied by one and a half. Finally, for spots four through ten, a multiplication of one was active.

The 20 teams were divided into two groups. From each group, the best five teams advanced to the finals. New York Subliners and Atlanta FaZe were the big winners of these semi-finals. In the finals, it was between LA Guerillas and TiberiousKhan. The team from Los Angeles won $30,000.

A sum of $20,000 was reserved for second place. The teams that finished in third, fourth and fifth place received $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000 respectively. Finally, the remaining teams that managed to make it to the finals also received a sum of money: they divided $4,000.

The Call of Duty League resumes on May 13 with the qualifying rounds for the third major. This will be organized by Toronto Ultra.
