Sprout to play in ESL Pro League S15 after all; big chance for Spiidi's revamped team

Sprout will face a big challenge in March. Sprout will compete in the ESL Pro League S15.

Extra Salt was supposed to be one of the participants of ESL Pro League S15. However, a few days ago they lost their CS:GO division to Complexity. Thus, they were left without a team and were replaced in the stated competition by Sprout, which hired two new players – Max „Marix“ Kugener and Victor „Staehr“ Staehr – before the start of the 2022 season, as Kamil „KEi“ Pietkun and Josef „faveN“ Baumann.

Danny „BERRY“ Krüger's charges were first in line to fill the gap after Extra Salt, as they achieved a solid result during the ESL Pro League S15 Conference. They finished fourth, so they were very close to the podium from where everyone was moving on to the prestigious league.

ESL Pro League S15 will begin on March 9 and is scheduled to take place in Malta. However, it's hard to say if there will actually be an offline skirmish or if it will be moved to the Internet due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As a reminder, the competition has a prize pool of $823,000 and 24 teams will fight for it.
