Project Blender 2025 EMEA

Riot Games has provided new information on its upcoming VALORANT tournament for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. The event will feature mixed-gender teams and aims to bring together a wide range of players from across the competitive scene.

The tournament has been anticipated for several months, and the latest updates give a clearer picture of how it will take shape. With its open structure and regional focus, it is positioned as a significant addition to the EMEA VALORANT calendar.

Project Blender

Project Blender serves as a new competitive event in the EMEA region, designed with an open-entry structure that allows players of all levels to participate. Teams must meet a technical requirement of maintaining under 80ms latency on the Paris and Frankfurt servers. From the initial pool of 1,024 teams in the opening bracket, only 16 will move forward into the second stage of the competition.

A special feature of the event is the Blender Spotlight, scheduled for November 3–4. This side competition offers a €10,000 prize pool awarded entirely to the winning team. The champion of this spotlight secures a direct path to Phase 3, while the second and third-place finishers gain entry into Phase 2. The main tournament concludes with finals in Paris on December 13–14.

Two new formats add strategic depth:

• Blender Draft: Any agents a team used in the previous map become unavailable for them in the following map.
• Challengers Call: Teams advancing from Phase 1 or 2 can select their next opponents.

Project Blender teams

Teams in Project Blender come from a wide mix of competitive levels, including Challengers, Game Changers, Premier, and Regional circuits. Certain regional events provide direct advancement into Phase 2, giving local champions a clear path into the larger competition.
