This season introduces an expanded lineup, moving from six to eight participating teams. The competition begins with two seeded GSL-style groups, each determining which squads advance to the playoff stage. From there, the format transitions into a double-elimination bracket. Most matches will be played as best-of-three series, but the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final will both shift to best-of-five showdowns to decide the ultimate winner.
The champion of Ascension EMEA 2025 will earn a direct promotion into the VCT EMEA 2026 League, joining the region’s top-tier competition. Unlike previous seasons, this year’s structure will also allow for two teams to secure promotion, raising the stakes for every matchup.
