After years of anticipation, VALORANT is set to introduce its long-awaited replay system on September 16, 2025. This addition will allow players to revisit their matches with tools such as free camera movement, point-of-view switching, and speed adjustments. The feature will be supported across the main game modes, though it will not extend to custom matches.
The system aims to give players more control in reviewing gameplay, whether for personal improvement, strategy analysis, or content creation. Early demonstrations have already shown how the replay tools function, offering a clearer look at how matches can be studied from multiple perspectives once the update arrives.
VALORANT Replay System
The replay tool in VALORANT arrives as a practical addition for players who want to review their own matches. Each replay remains available only for the length of the current patch cycle, which usually spans about two weeks. Once a new patch is released, all stored replays are cleared and cannot be recovered.
At launch, players can only revisit matches they personally played, accessible through the Career tab. Within each replay, users can switch perspectives to view any player’s point of view, but professional match footage still requires external recordings.
The system also introduces adjustable playback speeds for detailed analysis. Options range from 0.1x slow motion to 8x fast-forward, giving players flexibility in how they study specific rounds.
