PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 finals start tomorrow
The world championship of PUBG Mobile starts tomorrow. The biggest event of the mobile version of the popular battle royale will last all weekend.
During the tournament, teams around the world will compete for the huge prize pool of a whopping three million dollars, the largest prize pool ever for a PUBG Mobile tournament. In addition, James Yang, the director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports has a special announcement during the show.
PMGC 2021
The event will feature the 16 best teams in the world. Qualification for the tournament began in November. 40 teams were divided into two groups that spent three weeks competing for a spot at the world championship.
Of the 16 participating teams, nine come from the PMGC League East, six from the PMGC League West. Last to join is GodLike Esports, the winner of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021.

PUBG Mobile has partnered with YouTube for this year's World Championship. Therefore, the event will also be exclusively viewable on YouTube. It can be seen through the official PUBG Mobile Esports channel, as well as eighteen other regional channels.
The tournament takes place in Singapore making it easy for Dutch fans to follow. Every day the broadcast starts at 12.00.
PUBG Mobile
The mobile version of PUBG is hugely popular in the eastern part of the world. In 2017, Player's Unknown Battleground hit the market. The battle royale was a huge success and the game quickly became an esport. A year later PUBG Mobile was released, the mobile version is especially popular in India and Asia.
