Marvel Rivals Season 8 launches on May 15, bringing fresh content and notable gameplay updates in version 20260515. You can expect a new wave of balance changes, hero adjustments, and additions that shape how matches play out across every role.

Marvel Rivals Season 8 Patch Notes

Deadpool (Vanguard)

Deadpool’s frontline durability drops in this update. The Ban Hammer now restores 25 health per second instead of 50 while active.

His Dual Desert Eagles also deal less damage in Vanguard mode:

Mode Old Damage New Damage
Standard 36 34
Upgraded 42 39

You will need to rely more on positioning rather than sustain.

Emma Frost

Emma gains more consistency in sustained fights. Telepathic Pulse now takes 4 seconds to begin damage falloff after you stop hitting enemies, up from 3 seconds.

You can reposition Mind’s Aegis more often, as its cooldown drops from 3 seconds to 1 second.

While in Diamond Form or using her Ultimate, you gain 25% damage reduction instead of 20%.

The Thing

The Thing becomes tougher to eliminate. His base health increases from 700 to 750, improving his frontline presence.

Iron Fist

Iron Fist benefits from stronger ability cycling. Each Jeet Kune Do hit now reduces Dragon’s Defense cooldown by 1.2 seconds instead of 1 second.

K’un-Lun Kick also hits harder on its opening strike, increasing from 35 to 40 damage.

Mister Fantastic

You deal more damage with Stretch Punch, which rises from 65 to 70.

Flexible Elongation no longer slows your movement, and its charge time drops from 8 to 6 seconds.

His Ultimate, Brainiac Bounce, now costs 3100 energy instead of 3400, letting you activate it more often.

Moon Knight

Moonlight Hook becomes available more frequently. Its cooldown decreases from 15 seconds to 12 seconds, improving your engage and escape options.

Phoenix

Cosmic Flames delivers stronger direct hits, increasing from 50 to 55 damage.

However, detonating Spark marks deals less explosion damage, reduced from 40 to 35. You gain more precision damage but slightly weaker burst.

Spider-Man

Spectacular Spin deals more damage per Spell Field sphere, rising from 13.6 to 15.

Across the full 2.4-second duration, total damage increases from 408 to 450, making sustained contact more rewarding.

Squirrel Girl

You can activate Mammal Bond more often. Its cooldown drops from 15 seconds to 12 seconds, giving you better uptime in team fights.

Star-Lord

Star-Lord gains extended pressure through larger magazines. Element Guns ammo capacity increases from 40 to 50.

You spend less time reloading and more time applying damage.

Wolverine

Wolverine’s Regenerative Healing Factor becomes available sooner. The trigger cooldown decreases from 105 seconds to 90 seconds, improving survivability in drawn-out matches.

Invisible Woman

Her displacement power gets toned down. Force Physics now pushes enemies 10 meters instead of 12 and deals 50 damage instead of 55.

You will need tighter positioning to maximize its impact.

Loki

Illusion-based Mystical Missile healing improves from a 90% ratio to 100%.

Its damage ratio decreases from 90% to 80%, shifting value toward sustain rather than burst.

God of Mischief now costs 4500 energy instead of 4300.

Mantis

Allied Inspiration now grants 8% bonus damage instead of 12%.

In exchange, it provides a flat +100 movement speed boost to allies, giving your team stronger mobility.

Rocket Raccoon

Bombard Mode projectiles increase from 16 to 17 damage per hit.

Repair Mode gains two additional charges, rising from 8 to 10.

His Ultimate, C.Y.A., now costs 4000 energy instead of 4300.

White Fox

During Fox Form Awakening, the surrounding aura heals 35 per second instead of 25.

Each successful attack during that state produces less burst healing, reduced from 35 to 25.

While using Kumiho Unleashed, allied healing from Blessed by the Nine increases from 40 per second to 60 per second.

Marvel Rivals version 20260515 patch notes

Season 8 introduces a new Team-Up called Primal Punishment, linking Devil Dinosaur with The Punisher. When you activate it, Devil Dinosaur gains additional health, and The Punisher unlocks a new ability named Ancient Judgement.

In exchange, you receive damage reduction, and a portion of damage taken and healing received is shared between both heroes.
