A video highlighted by a well-known HoYoverse leaker, Ubatcha, reveals an early version of Herta as a Fire element character. The video uses Pela's model as a stand-in for the unfinished Herta, detailing a unique kit where Herta utilizes „Pyrospirits.“ These Pyrospirits are a stacking mechanic that enhances her Crit Rate and hastens her actions.

Skill Mechanics:

• Herta's skill in this early iteration deals AoE Fire damage.
• The skill releases all accumulated Pyrospirits, dealing additional damage to a single target.

Ultimate Mechanics:

• Her Ultimate also deals AoE Fire damage.
• Increases the damage output of her Pyrospirits.

This test version of Herta differs significantly from her release version. The official Herta wields a hammer, while the early build might have used another weapon, evidenced by the use of Pela’s model. The early Herta did not feature her signature follow-up attacks; instead, she relied on stacking Pyrospirits to boost her damage. The leak did not provide details on how more Pyrospirits were accumulated.

HoYoverse continues to develop new characters for Honkai: Star Rail, while still giving attention to its initial roster.
