The partnership has been announced through the publication of a video featuring some of the club's most important faces, including Ocelote himself and his two star signings of recent months, Rekkles and NiKo.

According to them, the new club shirt will include a hologram with the face of Ocelote, the Spanish founder and CEO of the club and his most recognized face. It will also have other unique features such as AEROREADY technology „to keep the fabric dry and breathable“. There will also be a line of clothing about which they have not given too many details at the moment.

„Today is a historic day for G2. Announcing a deal with a global sports brand like Adidas is a really important moment. Joining the Adidas family along with global brands such as Real Madrid, Manchester United and Bayern Munich is a milestone for us and for the electronic sports industry in general,“ said Ocelote.

From Adidas, they have highlighted in a press conference with the media that they are very proud of this agreement that started to be forged a long time ago. In the press release from the club itself, Björn Jäger – brand vice president for Central Europe – added that G2 will help them to boost the brand's presence not only in their local market, but also to reach out to the player communities at an international level.

Adidas thus joins the long list of sponsors of G2 Esports, a club that was founded just over five years ago and has positioned itself as one of the European references in many titles, especially in the League of Legends, where it has won 8 of the 10 LEC splits in which it has participated.

It is a club that was originally founded in Spain but which has had its headquarters in Germany for some years now. Nevertheless, they maintain certain links with our country through some fronts, such as their collaboration with Arctic Gaming for the management of their LoL subsidiary team.
