Final Fantasy 14 Monster Hunter Wilds Crossover

Final Fantasy 14 Monster Hunter Wilds Crossover

Final Fantasy 14 is preparing to launch its latest collaboration with Monster Hunter Wilds, bringing new rewards and challenges to players. The event will introduce a selection of items such as a mount, minions, and glamour gear, with the content expected to roll out in early October alongside Patch 7.35.

This marks the second crossover between the two franchises, following the earlier partnership with Monster Hunter World during the Stormblood expansion. The upcoming event centers on a new eight-player trial called The Windward Wilds, where adventurers face Guardian Arkveld in both Normal and Extreme modes.

Final Fantasy 14 x Monster Hunter Wilds Collaboration Rewards (as of September 19, 2025)

Players taking part in the crossover event can earn several themed rewards that draw directly from Monster Hunter Wilds. The items range from cosmetic gear to mounts, minions, and housing pieces, giving participants a variety of ways to showcase their involvement.

One of the highlights is the Hope Armor Set, which originates as the starting gear in Monster Hunter Wilds. In Final Fantasy 14, it functions as a glamour set. Notably, the headgear is compatible with Viera characters, addressing a long-standing restriction on certain hat models.

Another major feature is the Guardian Arkveld weapon line, modeled after the G Veldian equipment from Monster Hunter Wilds. These weapons are designed to stand out visually, though it has not been confirmed whether they will serve as functional upgrades or remain purely ornamental.

The mount reward comes in the form of the Seikret, a creature adapted for riding within Final Fantasy 14. Alongside this, players can collect the Seikret Hatchling minion, offering a smaller companion version of the mount. A Scoutfly minion is also included, referencing the tracking creatures from the Monster Hunter series.

For housing enthusiasts, Campsite furnishings inspired by the field bases in Monster Hunter Wilds will be available. These outdoor pieces allow players to recreate the look of a frontier camp within their personal or Free Company estates.

The following table outlines the rewards currently revealed:

Reward Type Item Name / Description
Armor Set Hope Set (glamour, includes headgear for Viera)
Weapons Guardian Arkveld series (G Veldian inspired)
Mount Seikret
Minions Seikret Hatchling, Scoutfly
Furnishings Outdoor campsite pieces

Square Enix confirmed that the collaboration will remain permanently accessible once released. This mirrors the approach taken with the earlier Monster Hunter World crossover, where players could continually challenge content to earn rewards at their own pace.

Additional rewards have been hinted at but not yet revealed. With the event tied to Patch 7.35 and launching in early October, players can expect more details to surface as the release date approaches.
