Blizzard has deployed another Overwatch hotfix, and you can feel its impact across the newest additions to the roster. The update adjusts all six recently introduced heroes, boosting Anran, Emre, and Mizuki while dialing back Domina, Vendetta, and Jetpack Cat.
These changes build on the momentum of Season 1: Conquest, which launched earlier this month with major content updates and new characters. With another round of tuning now live, you can expect noticeable shifts in mobility, damage output, and ultimate effectiveness as the meta continues to settle.
Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 1: Conquest Hotfix Patch Notes – February 24, 2026
Hero Balance Updates
This February 24 hotfix adjusts several of the newest heroes introduced during Reign of Talon: Season 1. You will notice targeted tuning aimed at outliers in damage, cooldown flow, and perk strength rather than sweeping reworks.
Domina
- Panopticon (Ultimate)
- Ultimate cost increased by 12%.
You now need more charge to activate Panopticon. This change slows how often Domina can control large engagements and reduces her overall ultimate uptime in longer fights.
Anran
- Inferno Rush
- Cooldown reduced from 8.5 seconds to 8 seconds.
- Dancing Blaze
- Movement range while active increased from 1.5 meters to 2.25 meters.
You can engage more frequently with Inferno Rush, giving Anran slightly better tempo in skirmishes. Dancing Blaze also allows you to reposition farther during its effect, which improves survivability and chase potential without increasing raw damage.
Emre
- Synthetic Burst Rifle
- Damage increased from 20 to 22 per shot.
This small damage bump raises Emre’s lethality in mid-range duels. You will secure eliminations more consistently when landing controlled bursts, especially against heroes with standard health pools.
Vendetta
- Palatine Fang
- Overhead swing damage reduced from 130 to 120.
- Fixed an issue where the downward overhead swing ignored horizontal knockback.
Vendetta’s overhead strike now hits less hard, reducing one-hit pressure against lower-health targets. At the same time, the attack now properly responds to lateral knockback while descending, so you will see more consistent counterplay when displacing her mid-swing.
Jetpack Cat
- Minor Perk – Claws Out
- Cooldown increased from 6 to 8 seconds.
- Major Perk – Territorial
- Damage bonus reduced from 50% to 33%.
Jetpack Cat’s perk-driven burst potential decreases in this update. You will need to manage Claws Out more carefully due to the longer cooldown, and Territorial no longer amplifies damage to extreme levels during power spikes.
Mizuki
- Kekkai Sanctuary
- Duration increased from 6 seconds to 7 seconds.
You can maintain protective field control for an additional second. That extra time can shift objective fights and extend defensive setups during coordinated pushes.
Issue Resolutions and Technical Fixes
This hotfix also addresses a range of gameplay and interface problems across standard modes and Stadium. The changes improve clarity, ability behavior, and UI stability.
General Fixes
- Resolved missing textures affecting the Charming: 76 skin.
- Corrected animation issues tied to Jetpack Cat’s tether interactions with several heroes.
- Restored visibility of Jetpack Cat’s aim-assist strength and threshold settings in the options menu.
- Fixed inconsistencies in Vendetta’s third-person sword-throw animation.
- Prevented Mizuki from activating Katashiro Return while stunned.
- Corrected an Advanced Info Panel error that displayed Mercy’s passive inaccurately.
You should now see more reliable visual feedback and consistent ability restrictions during crowd control. Interface elements tied to hero configuration also display properly again.
Stadium Mode Fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused the Stadium UI to disappear after round transitions.
- Prevented Vendetta from repeatedly activating her ultimate without full charge.
- Restored proper ultimate charge gain for Vendetta while using the Overloaded strike power.
- Fixed an issue where Vendetta’s Primary Fire failed to trigger Gloomgauntlet or benefit from Melee Damage bonuses.
- Corrected visual effects for Bola Shot when combined with Freja’s “So Cooked” power.
- Resolved an interaction where Ana’s “Dreamy” power incorrectly removed the effects of Artsy Daisy and Tactical Rifle.
- Fixed Mercy’s Self Healing so it correctly restores 40% when healing injured allies instead of the unintended 15%.
These updates tighten competitive integrity in Stadium. You should experience more accurate damage scaling, correct ultimate behavior, and stable UI flow between rounds.
The February 24 hotfix focuses on refinement rather than overhaul. You will see reduced burst extremes on select heroes, improved consistency across multiple abilities, and cleaner functionality in both core modes and Stadium play.
