League of Legends Patch 26.4 brings targeted balance updates to ARAM Mayhem, with a clear focus on reducing the impact of overly strong and frustrating Augments. You will notice adjustments aimed at creating fairer matches and limiting strategies that previously dominated games.
These changes refine how Augments shape each match, encouraging more varied builds and decision-making. As you queue up for ARAM Mayhem, you can expect a more controlled and competitive experience under the latest patch.
ARAM Mayhem changes in LoL Patch 26.4
You now see ARAM Mayhem and standard ARAM swapped on the client menu, changing how you access each mode. Riot also bundled in several balance adjustments, including nerfs that had already gone live about a week earlier.
The Augment Set panel responds faster, with a noticeably shorter delay when you browse options. This makes selecting and reviewing augments more efficient during champion select.
On the ARAM Mayhem mini-pass, the Level 4 reward now grants a Golden Reroll instead of 300 gold. As a result, your starting gold has returned to its previous value.
Augment and Set changes
Patch 26.4 targets several high-impact Augments and Set bonuses in ARAM: Mayhem. You will see only reductions in power, with no compensating buffs.
Some Augments now have team-wide limits, allowing only one player per side to select them. Poro stacking takes longer, and on-pickup slows drop from 50% to 25%, reducing early crowd control pressure.
Sustain and gold generation both decline:
- Gold per 1000 healing: 200 → 150
- Missing health healing: 20–50% → 5–15%
- Health drain near enemies: 7.5% → 5%
- Melee omnivamp: 25% → 20%
- Ranged omnivamp: 12.5% → 10%
Damage and mobility also scale back:
- Bonus true damage: 20% → 15%
- Burst speed: 350 (2s decay) → 200 (1s decay)
- Move speed toward low-health targets: 100% → 60%
- Adaptive force: 33% → 25%
Economy and utility effects shrink across the board. Gold rewards fall from 30/50/100% to 15/30/50%, cooldown refunds move from 40% to 30%, and death timer reduction drops to 25%.
Stat Anvil grants decrease by one at each tier, haste per stack falls to 8, and movement speed per stack lowers to 1%.
Set bonuses lose efficiency. Missile damage falls to 25% (2-set) and 50% (4-set), while heal power and movement speed bonuses each drop by 5–10%. Higher-tier Anvil upgrade chances cut in half, significantly reducing late-game scaling potential.
