League Of Legends Patch 26.4 Notes

League of Legends Patch 26.4 launches the second Act of the Demacia season and delivers one of the largest balance passes in recent updates. You can expect adjustments to more than 30 champions, with a mix of buffs and nerfs aimed at refining the current meta.

This patch also affects cosmetics, as most Petals of Spring skins will leave the store starting in Patch 26.6, with Lillia’s skin remaining available. If you follow seasonal content and balance changes closely, this update sets the tone for the weeks ahead.

League of Legends Patch 26.4 Notes

Patch 26.4 adjusts 33 champions, touching nearly one-fifth of the roster. Most updates are targeted number changes rather than full reworks, but several shifts will influence jungle pacing, mid lane trading, and late-game scaling.

You will notice a strong focus on jungle balance and damage scaling adjustments across multiple roles.

Jungle-Focused Adjustments

Several picks gain or lose efficiency in the jungle.

Ambessa (Jungle Nerf)

  • Q – Cunning Sweep / Sundering Slam
    • Bonus damage to monsters reduced: 150 → 125

This slows her clear speed and early objective control.

Brand (Jungle Buff)

  • Passive – Blaze
    • Monster damage increased: 265% → 270%
    • Non-epic monster damage cap raised: 40 → 50

These boosts improve his camp clear consistency and sustain pressure.

Darius (Jungle Buff)

  • Passive – Hemorrhage
    • Monster damage multiplier: 2x → 2.5x

He clears faster and stacks bleed more effectively on camps.

Fizz (Jungle Buff)

  • W – Seastone Trident
    • Bonus monster damage: 60 → 90

This significantly improves his early clears.

Maokai (Jungle Buff)

  • Q – Bramble Smash
    • Bonus monster damage increased across ranks: 120–160 → 140–180

He regains tempo in farming routes and neutral control.

Mid Lane and Mage Updates

Mid lane sees direct tuning to burst, mana control, and scaling.

Annie (Buff)

  • Q – Disintegrate base damage increased at most ranks.
  • E – Molten Shield now has a flat 10-second cooldown at all levels.

You gain stronger poke and more reliable defensive uptime in both mid and support.

Hwei (Buff)

  • WW – Pool of Reflection
    • Maximum shield value significantly increased.
    • Ally shielding ratio improved from 75% → 85%.
  • R – Spiraling Despair cooldown reduced at ranks one and two.

He provides thicker shields and more frequent ultimate pressure.

Kassadin (Nerf)

  • Health growth reduced: 119 → 113.
  • E – Force Pulse slow lowered at higher ranks.

You lose durability and late-game crowd control strength, especially with expanded Tear builds.

Kayle (Nerf)

  • Q – Radiant Blast base damage reduced at later ranks.

Her earlier access to level 16 power now comes with reduced early damage.

Ryze (Quality-of-Life)

  • R – Realm Warp no longer excludes champions moving out of the edge.

The ultimate behaves more consistently in tight timing situations.

Marksman and ADC Shifts

Several bottom lane champions see meaningful tuning.

Jinx (Nerf)

  • Armor growth reduced: 4.7 → 4.2

You become slightly more vulnerable in mid-to-late skirmishes.

Samira (Buff)

  • Q – Flair life steal effectiveness: 80% → 100%
  • R – Inferno Trigger life steal effectiveness: 80% → 100%

Life steal builds gain more value, especially with Bloodthirster.

Senna (Damage Rebalance)

  • Q – Piercing Darkness lower base damage, higher bonus AD ratio (40% → 60%).
  • W – Last Embrace lower base damage, higher bonus AD ratio (70% → 90%).

She scales harder with items and shifts back toward ADC-style builds.

Top Lane and Fighter Changes

Top lane adjustments address durability and scaling spikes.

Illaoi (Buff)

  • Passive – Prophet of an Elder God
    • Tentacle base damage increased at higher levels.

You maintain relevance when opponents gain level leads from role objectives.

Gwen (Nerf)

  • Q – Snip Snip! base damage per snip reduced.
  • Minion damage modifier slightly increased: 0.75x → 0.8x.
  • R – Needlework base damage per needle lowered.

Her burst drops, but wave clear improves slightly.

Kennen (Nerf)

  • R – Slicing Maelstrom cooldown standardized to 120 seconds at all ranks.

You lose late-game ultimate frequency.

Rumble (Early Nerf)

  • R – The Equalizer maximum damage reduced at ranks one and two.

His early teamfight threat declines.

Assassin and Skirmisher Adjustments

Several assassins see durability or damage tuning.

Naafiri (Mid Nerf)

  • Base health regeneration and growth reduced.
  • Q – Darkin Daggers mana cost increased at later ranks.

You trade less freely in lane and must manage mana more carefully.

Qiyana (Nerf)

  • Health growth reduced: 121 → 115

Her survivability drops in extended fights.

Rengar (Damage Rework)

  • Q – Savagery base damage redistributed.
  • Total AD scaling standardized.
  • Empowered damage scaling reduced.

His burst profile shifts, lowering extreme damage spikes.

Support and Tank Updates

Support picks receive durability and utility tuning.

Braum (Nerf)

  • R – Glacial Fissure base damage reduced.
  • Cooldown increased at all ranks.

You engage less often and deal less teamfight burst.

Lux (Support Skew)

  • Base mana reduced: 480 → 440
  • Mana regeneration increased: 7 → 9
  • Q – Light Binding cooldown flattened to 10 seconds
  • W – Prismatic Barrier cooldown adjusted to scale down more gradually

She leans further into shielding and utility rather than pure burst.

Lee Sin (Mechanic Adjustment)

  • W – Iron Will now grants omnivamp instead of separate life steal and spell vamp.
  • Healing now applies to minions, monsters, and champions.

You gain more consistent sustain across all targets.

Additional Targeted Nerfs

Some champions receive direct scaling reductions.

Graves (Buff)

  • E – Quickdraw now grants more armor and magic resist per stack at all ranks.

You gain improved durability in extended trades.

Swain (Nerf)

  • W – Vision of Empire slow set to 50% at all ranks.
  • R – Demonic Ascension AP scaling reduced.
  • Demonflare damage and slow reduced.

His sustained damage and control in teamfights drop.

Syndra (Damage Reduction)

  • W – Force of Will base damage lowered across ranks.
  • R – Unleashed Power adjusted to reduce burst output.

You lose some late-game execution power.

Patch 26.4 reshapes scaling curves, jungle tempo, and life steal interactions. You will feel these changes most in early clears, mid-game teamfights, and item-dependent power spikes.

LoL Patch 26.4 Item and Summoner changes

This update adjusts one item and modifies how omnivamp interacts with certain summoner spells.

  • Maximum bonus damage range: 600 → 500
  • Takedown bonus range duration: 6s → 8s

You gain extended range for a longer time after a takedown, but you must stay closer to trigger the highest damage.

Omnivamp no longer affects Smite or Ignite, so you cannot heal from their damage.
