Overwatch Diablo 4 Crossover Skins

You can expect another clash between Sanctuary and Future Earth as Overwatch unveils its Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred crossover. The event introduces five new skins inspired by Diablo’s dark fantasy themes, including Mephisto Ramattra, Druid Mauga, Rogue Freja, Paladin Brigitte, and Warlock Lifeweaver, timed with the expansion’s April 28 launch.

You have seen these universes meet before through past cosmetics tied to BlizzCon rewards, seasonal events, and the original Diablo 4 collaboration. This latest crossover builds on that history, expanding the lineup of heroes reimagined through Diablo’s classes and characters.

All Overwatch x Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred Crossover Skins

You can access the Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning event from April 28 through May 18, timed with the launch of Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred. During this window, you can purchase five newly designed Legendary skins that reinterpret Overwatch heroes through Diablo’s darker class fantasy.

These skins draw directly from playable archetypes and major figures within Diablo 4, including the Lord of Hatred himself.

New Legendary Skins (April 28 – May 18)

Overwatch Hero Diablo Theme Skin Name
Ramattra Mephisto Mephisto Ramattra
Lifeweaver Warlock Warlock Lifeweaver
Mauga Druid Druid Mauga
Brigitte Paladin Paladin Brigitte
Freja Rogue Rogue Freja

Each cosmetic adapts the visual identity of a Diablo class or character to fit the Overwatch hero’s silhouette and abilities.

Mephisto Ramattra transforms the Null Sector leader into a manifestation of hatred. The design incorporates demonic features and skeletal elements that reflect Mephisto’s presence in Sanctuary. The skin emphasizes sharp armor details and corrupted textures to align with Diablo’s grim tone.

Warlock Lifeweaver leans into occult aesthetics. You see darker fabrics, arcane motifs, and spell-focused visuals that mirror the Warlock’s role in Lord of Hatred. The design contrasts Lifeweaver’s usual elegance with a more ominous magical identity.

Druid Mauga blends brute force with nature-driven symbolism. The skin integrates primal armor styling and visual cues inspired by Diablo’s shapeshifting Druid class. You still recognize Mauga’s imposing frame, but the theme shifts toward elemental power and wilderness strength.

Paladin Brigitte draws from holy warrior traditions. Heavy armor plating, faith-based iconography, and knightly styling redefine her battlefield presence. The look references Diablo’s defensive melee archetype while preserving Brigitte’s core identity.

Rogue Freja focuses on agility and precision. The design emphasizes layered armor, dark leathers, and stealth-driven details associated with Diablo’s Rogue class. The overall presentation supports a swift, lethal archetype.

Returning Diablo Collaboration Skins

You can also purchase cosmetics from the original Overwatch x Diablo 4 crossover. Blizzard has reintroduced these premium skins for a limited time, available individually or in themed bundles.

Overwatch Hero Diablo Inspiration Skin Name
Moira Lilith Lilith Moira
Pharah Inarius Inarius Pharah
Reinhardt Imperius Imperius Reinhardt
Sombra Demon Hunter aesthetic Gilded Hunter Sombra

These skins originally launched during the first Diablo collaboration in 2023. If you missed them, you now have another opportunity to add them to your collection.

You can purchase them separately, in character-specific bundles with matching cosmetics, or as part of a larger combined package that groups all four together.

Event Challenges and Free Rewards

The crossover also reintroduces the original Diablo-themed event challenges. In 2023, most objectives required you to complete matches in the Trials of Sanctuary PvE mode.

Blizzard has not clearly confirmed whether that limited-time mode will return in the same form. However, the structure of the challenges suggests some version of the event format may reappear.

By completing event objectives, you can unlock free cosmetics tied to the collaboration.

One confirmed reward is the Crab with a Knife Weapon Charm, which you earn through event participation. The exact challenge requirements may vary, but the charm remains tied to the crossover activities.

Twitch Drops and Limited-Time Extras

You can also earn Diablo-themed items through Twitch Drops during the promotional period.

If you watch two hours of any Twitch stream in the Overwatch category before May 10, you receive:

  • Lilith Blade Weapon Charm
  • Wolf Pup Weapon Charm (previously released during Halloween Terror 2023)
  • One Battle Pass Tier Skip

If you continue watching and reach a total of eight hours, you unlock:

  • One Common Loot Box
  • One Epic Loot Box

Loot Boxes can contain various cosmetic items. The returning Diablo collaboration skins are technically part of the cosmetic pool, meaning you have a small chance to obtain one through drops rather than direct purchase.

Skins Not Included in This Event

Not every Diablo-themed cosmetic returns during Hatred’s Reckoning.

The following skins from 2023 do not appear to be part of this event:

  • Azmodan Wrecking Ball (originally distributed as a Twitch Drop)
  • Cleric Lifeweaver
  • Necromancer Ramattra
  • Nightfall Illari

Shop exclusives and certain Battle Pass cosmetics tied to earlier Diablo content also remain absent from the current lineup.

If you want those specific designs, you must wait for a separate re-release or special promotion.

How the Crossover Connects to Diablo 4

This collaboration aligns directly with the release of Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, which expands the ongoing conflict in Sanctuary. Diablo 4 launched on June 5, 2023, as an action RPG focused on dungeon exploration, character builds, and seasonal progression.

The game supports:

  • Online multiplayer and co-op
  • Cross-play and cross-progression across platforms
  • Seasonal content updates
  • Large-scale world events and endgame challenges

The Diablo franchise centers on the conflict between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells. Lord of Hatred continues that narrative arc, introducing new class fantasy elements such as the Warlock while expanding on Mephisto’s influence.

The Overwatch skins visually reflect these themes. Demonic armor, holy knight imagery, primal nature symbolism, and shadow-based rogue styling all echo Diablo’s class identities.

What You Can Purchase During the Event

During the April 28 to May 18 window, you can obtain:

  • Five new Legendary skins
  • Four returning Legendary skins
  • Character-specific cosmetic bundles
  • A larger combined bundle featuring the returning set
  • Event-based free rewards
  • Twitch Drop cosmetics and loot

Availability depends on store rotation and promotional timing. Once the event ends, these cosmetics may leave the shop until a future re-release.

If you want the full Diablo-themed collection in Overwatch, this event provides the most complete access window since the original collaboration.
