Fatal Fury City Of Wolves Update

On April 24, 2026, you see Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves reach its one-year mark with one of its largest updates yet. SNK introduces major changes designed to expand the game’s audience, including the return of Wolfgang Krauser and the revival of a classic Ring Out feature.

You also get a lower entry price, with the base version dropping to $19.99 and separate options for Season 1 and Season 2 passes. Alongside the new character and stage, the update overhauls the user interface and adds a fully voiced story mode that centers on Krauser’s return to South Town.

Gameplay and Feature Additions

You can now enter Training Mode directly from the Mode Select screen with a single button press. The pause menu in Training also features a cleaner layout and updated options, including a shortcut to Fighter’s Hub for immediate online standby.

Online play now supports simultaneous matchmaking for Ranked and Casual Matches. The system also refines matchmaking conditions to improve pairing accuracy.

Room Matches received several usability upgrades:

  • Replaced the free-moving cursor with standard menu navigation
  • Increased battle stations to four
  • Enabled Training Mode while waiting in online standby
  • Allowed attack data display during spectating
  • Permitted in-seat setting adjustments, including character changes

You can now review sent friend requests through a new tab in the Friend List. Versus Mode replays also remain accessible while offline.

The Gallery expands with new Street Fighter collaboration content, including a Chun-Li movie and additional artwork.

On PC, you can select from five controller button icon sets. Keyboard configuration also changes:

  • You can now map the Space bar
  • Press Tab to open menus (previously Space)
  • Press Space to open Jukebox playlists (previously Tab)
  • Tab and Backspace can no longer be assigned
  • Press Delete to restore default key settings

After reviewing overall game operations and player experience, the team removed several features:
