Pokopia is preparing to launch its next limited-time event, giving you the chance to spawn and encounter Sableye. The game has already started rolling out special events, and this upcoming addition continues that schedule.
If you missed the recent Hoppip event, you can jump back in with this new opportunity. You’ll find key details below on how to take part in the Sableye event and what to expect.
Pokopia Sableye event guide
You cannot summon Sableye through normal gameplay right now. To add this Gen 3 Dark/Ghost-type Pokémon to your island, you must join the limited-time in-game event.
The Sableye event runs April 29 to mid-May. During this period, Sableye appears near Poké Centers you have built, and you can interact with it to begin the befriending process.
- Build at least one Poké Center
- Enter the game during the active event dates
- Approach Sableye when it spawns and complete its requests
Dates
You can encounter Sableye in Pokopia from April 29 through May 14.
After May 14, the event ends and Sableye no longer appears in the game. The schedule is limited, and the Pokémon may not return in a future update, so secure yours before the window closes.
How to Participate
You can join the event by launching your game on or after the official start date during the limited-time window. When you load into your world, you will find Sableye waiting outside the closest Pokémon Center you have built.
Approach Sableye and interact with it to trigger the event quest. This step activates the dedicated mission tied to the event and sets you on the path to unlocking a special reward.
Complete the assigned tasks to earn the Sableye Habitat blueprint. Once you receive the plans, craft and place the habitat in your world using the required materials.
After you build the habitat, wait for Sableye to appear there. Keep the structure accessible and properly placed to ensure it can spawn without issues.
If you miss the event window, you will need to wait for a future opportunity or similar limited-time activities that introduce new Pokémon and themed content.
