Epic Games is offering several free cosmetics in Fortnite through the Victory Royale Rally event, including the Soft Roller Pickaxe. You can unlock this limited-time harvesting tool at no cost, but the window to earn it is short.
The Soft Roller Pickaxe is only available from March 27 to March 30. If you want to add it to your locker, you need to act before the event period ends.
Unlocking the Free Soft Roller Pickaxe in Fortnite
You can secure the Soft Roller Pickaxe at no cost by earning a Victory Royale during the limited-time event window. Simply log in before the event ends and compete for a win.
A victory in either Battle Royale or Zero Build qualifies. The match type does not matter, as long as you finish in first place.
After you win, the reward does not appear instantly. Epic Games grants the Soft Roller Pickaxe and the new Victory Umbrella once the event wraps up on March 30 at 8 AM ET. Both items then appear directly in your Locker without any extra steps.
