Fortnite Let Them Know launched today. This new event will appeal to soccer fans, as it is centered around the World Cup. Players can purchase or earn various in-game items through all sorts of challenges.

It is obvious that the gaming industry wants to get a piece of the pie from the World Cup in Qatar. The best footballers from the most successful countries will gather to compete for the world title. It also promises to be a (small) spectacle in Fortnite with Let Them Know.

Starting today, Nov. 21, players in Fortnite can complete challenges to unlock the „TROPHY TIME“ emoticon. Then, from day two through day six, a total of 300,000 experience points (XP) can be earned. To qualify for these rewards, players must log in to publisher and developer Epic Games‘ website.

Furthermore, several items will be added to the battle royale's in-game store starting Nov. 22. The Let Them Know outfits will bring world championship atmospheres to the game. It is reportedly possible to personalize the outfits through different patterns and colors.

In addition to the outfits, other items are also available. These are Top Trophy Back Bling: Show off that win, World Class Pickaxe: Gooooold and Fan Fervor Emote: Goooooal.

In addition to Fortnite, other games are also paying attention to the World Cup. For example, in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, soccer players Neymar, Messi and Pogba can be purchased and an event called Modern Warfare FC is introduced.
