Dota: Dragon's Blood Chapter 2 delayed

After the first season of the Dota 2-inspired series was released on Netfilx last year, the next episodes should now follow. However, fans will have to wait a little longer.

Dota 2 made history once again last year. The tenth edition of The Internationals offered the largest prize pool ever played in eSports with more than 40 million US dollars. But the universe has also expanded off the computer screen and has been extended by its own anime series.

Dota: Dragon's Blood was released on Netflix in March 2021 and follows the story of the Dragon Knight Davion, who fights all kinds of monsters and especially dragons in a fantastic world full of magic. The second season continues the story and was originally supposed to be released on Netflix at the beginning of the new year, but will now in all likelihood only be released on the streaming platform on 18 January.

Arcane and Dragon's Blood – The Year of MOBA Anime

2021 was not only the year Dota turned the corner with its own anime, League of Legends also took the world by storm with an animated series. However, while Dragon's Blood was more along the lines of the Castlevania series, which also appeared on Netflix, Arcane was developed and produced in painstaking detail over a period of six years.

As with Dota: Dragon's Blood, a second season of Arcane is in development, but will not be available until next year.
