Season 4 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 adds the KRS-7.62 marksman rifle to the weapon lineup. You can unlock this new rifle through the Season 4 Battle Pass in both Black Ops 7 and Warzone.
The Battle Pass offers more than one path to get the KRS-7.62, and you also have the option to access it without completing the full grind. You will find several ways to add this marksman rifle to your loadout and start using it right away.
How to Get the KRS-7.62 Marksman Rifle in Black Ops 7 and Warzone
You gain access to the KRS-7.62 at the launch of Season 4 on June 4, 2026. The weapon appears directly in the Season 4 Battle Pass and does not require a separate challenge.
The base version of the rifle sits on Page 3 as the High-Value Target (HVT) reward. Because it is the HVT item, you must unlock every other reward on that page before you can claim it.
To unlock the base KRS-7.62:
- Progress to Page 3 of the Season 4 Battle Pass.
- Unlock all standard rewards on that page.
- Spend a Battle Pass Token on the HVT slot to claim the weapon.
If you want a cosmetic variant, move further into the pass. A weapon blueprint for the KRS-7.62 appears on Page 12, requiring additional progression beyond the base unlock.
You can accelerate access in several ways:
- Purchase Battle Pass Tokens using COD Points.
- Buy the BlackCell Battle Pass upgrade ($30) to receive 25 Tier Skips instantly.
- Use Tier Skips to complete Page 3 immediately and unlock the base rifle without gameplay progression.
BlackCell Tier Skips can cover the full page if allocated correctly, allowing you to secure the weapon as soon as Season 4 begins.
If you prefer to avoid the Battle Pass system entirely, watch the in-game Store. A separate bundle featuring a KRS-7.62 blueprint will be available. Pricing and timing are not confirmed, but it is expected to release around the Season 4 launch window.
