Fortnite v31.10 Patch Notes

Fortnite's latest v31.10 update for Chapter 5 Season 4 has rolled out and is offering fresh gameplay experiences. Following a brief overnight downtime, players can now enjoy new Marvel-themed weapons added to the loot pool.

One of the standout additions is a weapon that transforms your character into Doctor Doom, bringing unique abilities that can turn the tide in battles. This article explores all the significant changes and new features introduced in the Fortnite v31.10 update.

New Marvel weapons spawn in for the Fortnite v31.10 update

The Fortnite v31.10 update introduces two new Marvel-themed weapons, enhancing gameplay excitement. First up are Shuri's Black Panther Claws, which can be found at The Raft point of interest (POI). Classified as an Epic rarity weapon, these claws allow players to execute Slash, Pounce, and Supercharge attacks. The weapon's ammunition functions on a percentage basis; as the percentage drops, the closer the Claws get to being depleted.

Another major addition in this update is the Doctor Doom Mythic, named the Ultra Doom Armor. When acquired, players transform into Doctor Doom, respawning in the sky with a customized HUD and various Doom-specific abilities. This feature is similar to the Thanos limited-time mode from Chapter 1. Players can levitate and use Doom's Gauntlets to unleash powerful attacks, including an attack reminiscent of Doom's Mystical Bomb from Chapter 2 Season 4.

To obtain the Ultra Doom Armor, players must head to the new Doctor Doom Rift Island and claim it. These additions significantly diversify the combat options available in Fortnite, offering fresh experiences for players.

New Marvel Skins and Super Styles

The latest Fortnite update, v31.10, has introduced new Super Styles to the Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass. Found in the „Bonus Rewards“ section, players can unlock these special styles:

• Arcane Burn
• Cold Sorcery
• Doomforged

Access to these options is granted once players surpass level 100, with each style requiring between 15 and 25 Battle Stars.

Two additional Marvel skins expected to release soon are Sabretooth Meowscles and Black Cat. These skins should become available in the Item Shop on September 4 at 8 p.m. ET.
