Pragmata: How to Get a Red Gate Key

Red Gate Keys let you access some of the toughest areas in Pragmata. You use them to unlock Red Zones, which block off high-risk sections that hold valuable upgrades, bonuses, and rare rewards.

As you explore, you can move beyond the main path and uncover optional routes filled with hidden content. If you want to experience everything the game offers, you need to track down multiple Red Gate Keys and understand where to use them.

Red Gate Key locations in Pragmata

You will find Red Gate Keys in most story stages, often close to the Red Zones they unlock. The game frequently places a key within short walking distance of a locked red gate, so you can grab it and return without leaving the area.

Early in the campaign, you encounter a Red Zone during the second main mission set in a reworked New York City. You cannot access it at first. Continue along the primary route and you will spot a bright red briefcase resting on a restaurant counter. Interact with it to collect your first key, then backtrack to open the nearby gate.

Red Gate Keys always appear as red briefcases, which makes them easy to identify against most environments. Walk up to the case and interact to add the key to your inventory. You can then unlock any matching red gate you have already discovered in that level.

When you do not see a key along the main objective path, shift your focus to optional routes. Check:

• Side corridors branching off the critical path
• Rooms blocked by red or blue crystal barriers
