Keraunios God Roll

Keraunios has quickly become a standout addition in Destiny 2, appearing in Episode: Heresy. Its arrival has captured the attention of players who recognize its potential with exceptional god rolls and impressive perk selections. As it may not be available for long, players are urged to seize the opportunity to obtain this weapon before it vanishes from circulation for an extended period.

The appeal of Keraunios lies in its adaptability and power, making it a coveted asset for players seeking to elevate their gameplay. Its potential to enhance performance through strategic perk combinations ensures that it remains a highly sought-after item within the game. As players navigate their journey, acquiring Keraunios could provide a significant advantage.

What Defines the Ideal Keraunios Setup in Destiny 2?

Optimal Keraunios Setup for PvE

For those looking to maximize the Keraunios for player vs. environment settings, here are some considerations for crafting the perfect setup. Corkscrew Rifling is the recommended barrel choice, offering a balanced boost to range, stability, and handling. The Enhanced Battery ensures a larger magazine capacity, essential for sustained firefights.

In terms of traits, Overflow is a standout for those wielding trace rifles. This perk allows for a significant ammo boost, especially effective when used as a primary weapon. Players relying on abilities will benefit from pairing Recycled Energy with the Classy Contender Origin Trait. This combination enhances energy regeneration. A flexible choice for dealing with enemies includes Rolling Storm, which enhances Bolt Charge stacking, or Jolting Feedback, ideal for clearing multiple foes. The Detonator Beam, akin to Kinetic Tremors, is another strategic choice to enhance add-clearing capabilities. Lastly, players can opt for Killing Tally to substantially increase damage output. For further tuning, Reload Speed is a masterwork focus, with the Backup Mag completing the setup.

Optimal Keraunios Setup for PvP

In player vs. player battles, the setup focus shifts slightly for optimal performance. The recommended barrel is Smallbore, known for its balanced improvement of range and stability. Projection Fuse is desirable for extending effective range.

The first trait should be Dynamic Sway Reduction, enhancing stability the longer the trigger is held. In combination with Closing Time, which improves range and accuracy under specific conditions, this makes for a highly manageable weapon during competitive play. Alternatively, players may choose Killing Wind for similar advantages, albeit requiring an initial victory in combat. The origin trait remains Classy Contender, with a focus on Range as a masterwork and the Ballistics mod to enhance weapon performance further. Effective use in the Crucible also mandates maintaining a healthy supply of special ammo.

Acquiring the Keraunios in Destiny 2

The Keraunios can be obtained during the Guardian Games event, which occurs yearly. In 2025, this event ends in early April, so time is of the essence. Players will first encounter this weapon through the „Best In Class“ quest offered by Eva Levante. After completing the quest, additional Keraunios can be acquired by turning in medals at the Tower while the event is active. Unlike some weapons, the Keraunios cannot be crafted; instead, players must use it to gain levels and unlock enhanced perks.
