Players now have access to the innovative Artifact Transmuter gadget, combined with the Sanctifying Elixir consumable, allowing for the creation and customization of Artifact pieces.

This new feature is a game-changer, making the process not only more efficient but also more enjoyable. Veterans of the game who have advanced significantly are likely to find the Artifact Transmuter ready for use, accessible through the Adventurer's Handbook by completing specific missions.

Using the Artifact Transmuter

Crafting Your Custom Artifact in Genshin Impact

To begin using the Artifact Transmuter, navigate to your inventory and select „Use“. This will launch the interface, which consists of two sections: Artifact Definition and Artifact Extraction.

How to Craft Your Artifact in Genshin Impact

In the Artifact Definition section, you can create customized artifacts. This process involves a cost structure and limitations.

1. Choose the Artifact Set: From the left side of the interface, pick the desired Artifact Set.
2. Select the Artifact Piece: Each piece has a different cost, which is outlined below. Choose the Artifact Piece you wish to define from the right panel.
3. Define Attributes: Select the Main Affix along with up to two Minor Affixes for your Artifact.
4. Confirm and Define: Click „Define“ to finalize the artifact.

The cost to define each Artifact Piece is as follows:

Each Artifact Set can only be defined once per game cycle. For instance, if you define an Artifact from an „Obsidian Codex“ set in version 5.0, you will have to wait until version 5.1 to define another Artifact from the same set. Nevertheless, defining an Artifact from a different set, such as „Golden Troupe,“ is still possible within the same version.

How to Get Sanctifying Elixir in Genshin Impact

Sanctifying Elixir is essential for crafting Artifacts in Genshin Impact. To obtain it, players can use the Artifact Transmuter gadget. This gadget requires 5-star Artifacts enhanced to at least level +4. When enough Artifacts are offered, the player will receive one Sanctifying Elixir.

Important: The offered Artifacts will be destroyed, so choose wisely. This exchange can be done only once per version update.

Additionally, Sanctifying Elixirs can be obtained from the paid track of the Battle Pass and through limited-time events, making these alternative sources valuable.
