Game Science has rolled out update 1.0.8.14860 for Black Myth: Wukong, enhancing the player experience by addressing numerous bugs and making meaningful balance adjustments. This update specifically tackles an issue where enabling FSR could lead to game crashes, particularly during startup or the prologue.

In addition to these technical fixes, the update also includes balance changes, such as slightly lowering the stats of Captain Wise-Voice to make the boss battle more manageable. These efforts help to refine the gameplay and stabilize performance, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable experience for players.

Primary Fixes and Improvements

Resolved an issue causing crashes when enabling FSR during the game's startup or prologue.
Addressed a crash problem in specific Webbed Hollow areas when NVIDIA Full Ray Tracing is activated.
Corrected an abnormal stretching issue with character hair.

Enhancements:

Optimized hair effects for the Yaoguai King known as „Lingxuzi.“

Gameplay Adjustments:

Reduced the stats of the Yaoguai King „Captain Wise-Voice.“
Fixed an issue where specific enemies could become motionless in certain scenarios.
Corrected the attack motion of the Lesser Yaoguai „Lantern Warden“ in Pagoda Realm to prevent pushing players into walls.
Fixed an unresponsive state when the Destined One performs „Whirling Thrusts in Thurst Stance.“

Added translations for Portraits in multiple languages, along with optimized existing translations.
Introduced translations for song titles and lyrics in the Music library in several languages, and corrected display errors in English lyrics.

Optimized translations for Talents, Equipment, and Inventory in several languages and fixed text errors.
Improved subtitle layout in several languages.
Optimized loading screen tips‘ translations in several languages.

Language and System Compatibility:

Encountered an issue where setting the system language to Turkish could cause crashes on PS5 and PC versions. Users should temporarily switch their console or Windows display language to English or another language to avoid these issues. For PS5: navigate to Settings > System > Language > Console Language. For PC: go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region > Windows display language.
