Fortnite has recently reintroduced a highly coveted skin, Trench Raider, after an absence of over four years. First unveiled in November 2019 as part of Chapter 2, Season 1, this rare skin hadn't made an appearance since January 2020, making its return a significant event for long-time players.

The Trench Raider skin is part of the Fathoms Deep set and features a striking black and gray bodysuit. Available in the Signature Styles section of the item shop for 1,200 V-Bucks, this futuristic design includes yellow accents and a communications headpiece, adding to its appeal. This reappearance aligns with a recent trend of reviving rare skins, as seen with the Bravo Leader skin's return after three years.

Trench Raider Returns to Fortnite after More Than 4 Years

Trench Raider, a rare Fortnite skin, has made a comeback after over four years. Alongside the skin, players can obtain the Rare Fortnite Backpack, known as Torpedo Tank. This accessory complements Trench Raider's look with a yellow metal design and mini-harpoons that match the ones attached to his hip pouch.

The resurgence in popularity is partly due to the release of LEGO Fortnite in December 2023. Fans get a chance to see a LEGO-styled Trench Raider, which features similar aesthetics but in more charming proportions. Additionally, the LEGO version boasts rubber ducky decals on his suit, adding a playful twist.
