Music, a staple element in Fortnite since Chapter Five, has evolved from being a background feature to becoming a central part of the gameplay. Previously limited to specific areas like the Lobby or Emotes, the integration of personalized music tracks during significant game moments enhances the immersive experience. This new level of personalization comes as part of Chapter Six, Season Two, providing players with the tools to tailor their experience to match their unique style.

How to Set Up and Modify Personal Sounds in Fortnite

Players can add a personal touch to their Fortnite experience by using Moments, offering an exclusive way to enjoy selected music tracks. These musical cues are private; they won't be audible to other gamers, including those observing. This privacy ensures that players can enjoy a personal soundtrack without influencing the atmosphere for others in the game.

To customize these music tracks, start by entering any Battle Royale game mode. Once in the lobby, navigate to the Locker tab. As you browse through the options, locate the Moments category—it should be positioned near the bottom, just above where Lego Kits are displayed. Within this section, players can select their desired Intro Music and Celebration Music tracks.

Choosing these tracks allows gamers to enhance their gaming sessions. Moments are similar to setting your own lobby music, providing a custom mood that doesn’t impose on the game environment as enjoyed by other players.
