Real Madrid footballer Casemiro launches esports team
The Real Madrid midfielder has launched his Counter-Strike team, which will include five Brazilian players and will compete as Case Esports. Carlos Henrique Casemiro, Real Madrid's midfielder, has finally announced his electronic sports club, whose existence was revealed almost two months ago through its registration in the Commercial Register under the name of Casemiro Sports Brasil SL.
The name of the club in competitions will be Case Esports and, at least for the time being, it will start as a Counter-Strike team: Global Offensive. It will be a totally Brazilian team and already has its first sponsors.

The team is based in Spain and consists of Denis ‚dzt‘ Fischer, Paulo ‚land1n‘ Felipe (both former Tempo Storm players), Felipe ‚delboni‘ Delboni (INTZ and Imperial) and two players from the FURIA branch, Yan ‚yepz‘ Pedretii and Vinicius 'n1ssim‘ Pereira.
According to HLTV.org, the team will seek to grow through the Spanish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene and from there seek to qualify for major international tournaments. On their website, for example, the DreamHack Masters Winter open qualifiers stand out as their first date.
The official website also states that they seek to lead „the European sports scene“ with „effort, perseverance and teamwork“ as the fundamental pillars of their success formula.
Case Esports „is born as much more than a professional team specialized in CS:GO“, they explain. „From the hobby to this popular shooter of its promoter, Carlos Henrique Casemiro, a new opportunity arises to open up in one of the most novel and exciting competitions of the last years, the one of the sports“, they add.
In this brief presentation statement also highlight that they have „the latest technology and infrastructure adapted for their training and championships“ and also with a technical team formed by sports professionals to get to be at the height of the best teams.
Casemiro is a well-known fan of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and wanted to share the video presentation of his team on his Twitter account, in which he also mentioned the five players to try to make them known to the public.
