Black Ops 7 Share Loadouts Guide
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to launch on November 14 with several new features across its Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes. Among the announcements, one of the most notable additions is a system that allows players to share their customized loadouts quickly and efficiently.
Loadouts have been a core part of the series for years, giving players the ability to fine-tune weapons with multiple attachments that affect performance in different ways. With the new system, players can now exchange complete builds through a simple code, eliminating the need to manually list attachments piece by piece.
Black Ops 7 introduces a system for sharing custom loadouts
Black Ops 7 will include a new feature that allows players to share their weapon setups through a code-based system. Each custom loadout built in the Gunsmith will generate a unique Build Code, which can then be provided to another player. When that code is entered, the recipient’s Gunsmith will automatically configure the same weapon and attachments as the original creator.
This system removes the need to verbally list every attachment to friends. Instead, one quick exchange of a code makes it possible to replicate a loadout instantly. While efficient, the feature does have one limitation: players must already own the same weapon and have unlocked the required attachments. If they do not, the loadout cannot be fully applied until those items are available.
The process can be outlined simply:
- Create a custom weapon setup in the Gunsmith.
- Receive a generated Build Code for that setup.
- Share the code with another player through the game or an external method.
- The other player enters the code in their Gunsmith to duplicate the loadout.
A key detail is that the method of sharing the codes has not been fully detailed. It is not yet confirmed whether codes will be sent directly through in-game systems, such as chat or menus, or if players will need to copy and share them manually.
To illustrate how this works, consider the following example:
| Player Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Player A creates a Peacekeeper MK1 build with full attachments | A Build Code is generated |
| Player A shares the code with Player B | Player B enters it in the Gunsmith |
| Player B has not unlocked all attachments | Only available parts apply; full build requires future unlocks |
This approach streamlines collaboration and experimentation with weapon setups. By replacing lengthy explanations with a single code, players can quickly test new builds or adopt proven configurations from teammates.
