All Fortnite Winterfest Presents

Fortnite Winterfest returns with a full cabin of holiday presents, bringing another round of free rewards for you to unlock. This season changes how you earn those items, putting more pressure on daily logins rather than letting rewards stack over time. You still have access to several valuable cosmetics, including free skins, if you keep up with the schedule.

You need to enter the Winterfest cabin regularly, choose a present, and open it to claim what’s inside. Missing days now means missing rewards, as the system no longer allows you to catch up later. Understanding how the presents work and what each one contains helps you plan your logins and avoid leaving anything behind.

What’s Inside the Fortnite Winterfest Gifts This Season?

Winterfest presents follow clear visual cues rather than random rewards. Each box design links to a specific cosmetic, so you can plan your picks instead of guessing. If you want a certain item, you need to open the matching package.

The cabin includes small, medium, and oversized boxes in distinct colors and shapes. Their placement around the room matters just as much as their appearance. Paying attention saves you days of waiting.

Below is a practical breakdown of what each present contains this year. Use it to target the rewards you care about first.

Present contents by box type

Present look and placement Reward type
Small blue box near the tree Fire-Born emote
Small yellow box near the tree No Sweat, Snowfish emote
Small box near the tree Warm & Peely emote
Small mixed boxes by the tree Gift emote
Large green box behind Sgt. Winter Snowman weapon wrap
Large green box with white bow Cheeks outfit
Medium green box with white wrap Glacial Dummy outfit
Square blue box on the left side Winterfest Bow back bling
Long red box with yellow ribbon Festive Gwinny back bling
Long red box near the wizard hat Winterfest Letter glider
Large box near the Snowman wrap Shadowstorm contrail
Red square box beside the tree Festive Bat pickaxe
Small box near Sgt. Winter Glacial Groove pickaxe
Yellow box near Sgt. Winter Bard’s Gem pickaxe
Yellow square box far from the tree Wrapped Axe pickaxe
Vinyl-shaped box Battlewood lobby music

Most emotes come from the smaller boxes clustered around the tree. Larger cosmetics like outfits and wraps sit farther back in the room. Checking size and color helps you avoid opening something you do not want yet.

Which Winterfest Gifts Unlock the Free Outfits?

Free outfits do not unlock immediately, even if you know which box contains them. The game gates these rewards behind progress rather than chance. You must open a set number of presents before the outfit boxes become available.

The first free outfit becomes accessible after you open seven presents. That reward is Glacial Dummy, tied to a medium-sized green box with white wrapping. You cannot open this box early, even if you click it.

The second free outfit unlocks much later. Cheeks only becomes available after you open thirteen other presents. This places it at the very end of the Winterfest schedule for most players.

You need near-perfect attendance to reach that second outfit. Missing too many days can prevent the final unlock entirely. That makes planning your daily logins important if outfits matter to you.

Key points to remember:

  • You cannot bypass outfit locks by selecting the box early
  • The first outfit unlocks after 7 total presents
  • The second outfit unlocks after 13 total presents
  • Missing days risks losing access to the final outfit

If outfits sit at the top of your priority list, you should open any available present each day. Cosmetic preferences do not matter until the unlock thresholds clear.

Missed Days No Longer Carry Over

Winterfest no longer lets you catch up on missed presents. Each day allows only one gift, and unused days disappear permanently. If you skip a login, you lose that reward.

Earlier Winterfest events allowed stacking. You could miss days and open extra presents later. That system no longer exists.

You now need to log in on most event days to claim everything. The event runs long enough to miss a few days, but not many. Missing more than a handful of logins can block the final outfit.

You do not need to play a match to claim a present. Opening the game and visiting the cabin completes the requirement. That makes daily check-ins quick but still mandatory.

Practical tips to avoid missing rewards:

  • Open Fortnite once per day during the event
  • Claim the present immediately after logging in
  • Do not wait until the final week to start
  • Track how many presents you have already opened

Treat Winterfest like a calendar, not a backlog. Once a day passes, that gift does not return.

Where You Access the Winterfest Presents

You find all Winterfest presents inside the Winterfest Cabin. The cabin returns to the lobby after being absent in earlier seasons. You can reach it directly from the main menu.

Scroll through the lobby options until you see the Winterfest section. Selecting it loads the cabin scene with all available boxes. Open presents directly from that screen.

The cabin also appears as a themed space rather than a plain menu. Boxes surround the room, with Sgt. Winter and other decorations acting as landmarks. Use these reference points to identify the right present.

You do not need to complete challenges or earn XP to enter the cabin. Access stays open throughout the event period. As long as you log in, you can claim that day’s gift.
