Overwatch Gets Burger King Collaboration

You can visit select Burger King locations in China and find them transformed through a new Overwatch collaboration. The promotion ties themed meals to exclusive in-game rewards centered on heroes such as Genji, Mauga, Juno, Junker Queen, and D.Va.

When you purchase participating menu items, you receive special Overwatch loot connected to these characters. The campaign targets players in China and blends fast food branding with in-game content to give you a limited-time crossover experience.

China receives Overwatch and Burger King crossover event

You can take part in a limited Overwatch promotion at Burger King locations across China beginning May 23. If you purchase the special dine-in combo, you receive themed merchandise along with in-game rewards. Reservations for this offer open on May 21.

Dine-in combo includes:

  • Whopper
  • Drink
  • Chicken nuggets
  • Dipping sauce
  • Onion rings

The included collectible item comes at random. You may receive merchandise featuring Genji, Mauga, Juno, Junker Queen, or D.Va, inspired by the Loverwatch theme.

A second collaboration meal launches through food delivery apps on May 26. If you order the designated combo, you can obtain a character keychain featuring Genji, Mauga, or Junker Queen.

Select Burger King locations will also feature themed visuals tied to the promotion, reinforcing the partnership’s limited regional focus within China.

Overwatch Takes Over Burger King Locations Across China

You can step into a themed dining experience at select Burger King restaurants across China. The collaboration adds life-size hero standees and branded window decals that transform ordinary storefronts into Overwatch displays.

Participating locations feature:

  • Limited-time Overwatch combo meals
  • In-game loot tied to purchases
  • Character cutouts for photo opportunities
  • Custom exterior and interior graphics

This promotion continues Blizzard’s approach of offering region-specific content in China. Previous exclusives included themed events and crossover skins that did not immediately release elsewhere.

At the same time, you have seen some fan-created and seasonal cosmetics eventually expand beyond China, showing that limited launches do not always stay local. That pattern keeps interest high while giving regional players early access to special content.
