Fortnite Sidekicks List: Complete Guide to Abilities and Updates

Fortnite introduced Sidekicks on October 30, adding a new cosmetic category that lets you bring a companion into your matches. The first release, Peels—a dog-inspired version of Peely—arrived through the Chapter 6 Mini Season 2 Battle Pass and marked the start of this feature.

Since November 2025, Epic Games has continued to expand the lineup with a growing range of Sidekicks across different seasons and events. This article tracks every Sidekick released so you can see how the system has developed and what options you can add to your locker.

Battle Pass exclusives remain limited to Peels and Ice Prince, which means you needed to unlock them during their respective seasons. Every other confirmed Sidekick entered through the Item Shop rotation.

Two entries, Toony Tabby and Dodger, do not yet have confirmed pricing or release details. You should watch official updates for final availability information.

Important Details About Fortnite Sidekicks

Keep these facts in mind before you equip a companion:

  • Other players cannot see your Sidekick during matches. Only you see it while you play.
  • Sidekicks do not affect gameplay. They offer no stat boosts, combat perks, or competitive edge.
  • You can customize a Sidekick once before you lock in its appearance. After that choice, you cannot edit that specific version again.
  • You may buy extra copies of the same Sidekick if you want different looks or setups.
  • You can change your Sidekick’s name at any time.

Sidekicks first launched globally in early November 2025, starting with Flopsticks, Lil’ Raptor, and Cuddle Team Jr. Epic Games added them as a new cosmetic category that works across major Fortnite modes.

Expect Sidekicks to rotate through the Item Shop and potentially appear in future Battle Passes. Collaborations can also expand the lineup, giving you more licensed companions beyond standard Fortnite originals.
