All Black Ops 7 Ranked Play Maps and Game Modes

Ranked Play in Black Ops 7 places you in a competitive environment with strict rules, a defined map pool, and structured game modes. You compete under the same settings used in the Call of Duty League, so every match follows a professional standard with clear restrictions and skill-based divisions.

If you do not follow the pro scene, you may not recognize the full rotation of maps and modes right away. Understanding what you will play in Ranked helps you prepare strategies, refine your loadouts, and climb the ladder with purpose.

Maps and game modes in Black Ops 7 Ranked Play

Ranked Play currently follows the same competitive settings used in the Call of Duty League. You compete on a fixed map pool and rule set that launched with Season 2, and the rotation remains unchanged for now.

As the year progresses, Treyarch may adjust the pool to reflect league updates or test new competitive content. For now, you play on the maps listed below during the voting phase.

Hardpoint Rotation

In this respawn mode, you rotate through set hills and fight for timed objective control. The current maps are:

  • Exposure
  • Den
  • Scar
  • Blackheart
  • Colossus

Exposure, Den, and Scar appear across every Ranked mode, so you will see them frequently. Blackheart only appears here, which often makes it a common veto choice in pre-match voting.

Colossus supports both Hardpoint and Search and Destroy, giving you multiple ways to approach it competitively.

Search and Destroy Lineup

This single-life mode emphasizes strategy, timing, and coordinated pushes. The active maps include:

  • Exposure
  • Den
  • Scar
  • Colossus
  • Raid

Raid is exclusive to this mode in Ranked Play. Because of that, teams often debate whether to play it or remove it during vetoes.

You must adapt to tighter pacing and structured setups compared to respawn modes.

Overload Map Pool

Overload adds a third competitive format to the rotation. Exposure, Den, and Scar all support this mode, making them central to your Ranked experience.

Since these three maps appear in every mode, you should learn their callouts, rotations, and power positions thoroughly. Mastery of this shared pool gives you a consistent advantage across the entire Ranked ladder.
