Black Ops 7: How To Unlock The Deadeye Drone Streak

The Deadeye Drone marks the first new scorestreak introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, expanding the game’s multiplayer arsenal with a precision-based remote weapon. First shown in the Season 1 trailer, the drone gained attention for its ability to target enemies from above but was noticeably absent at the season’s launch.

Its delayed arrival has built interest among players awaiting the chance to earn and deploy it in matches. As part of the evolving scorestreak system, the Deadeye Drone adds another layer of strategy to competitive play, rewarding those who complete specific in-game challenges or objectives to unlock it.

Unlocking the Deadeye Drone in Black Ops 7 Season 1

Players can access the Deadeye Drone by completing a set of Weekly Challenges during Season 1. The scorestreak becomes available starting in Week 3, allowing players to earn it through flexible completion options across multiple game modes. Whether focusing on MultiplayerZombiesEndgame, or Warzone, progress counts toward the same goal.

To earn the reward, players must finish six Week 3 challenges out of a total of 24 available. These can be completed in any combination of modes. For instance, completing three tasks in Multiplayer, two in Endgame, and one in Warzone still unlocks the Drone. Alternatively, players who prefer a single game mode can complete all six there without penalty.

Once the six challenges are complete, the Deadeye Drone is unlocked automatically and can be selected from the Scorestreaks menu. The requirement is not constrained by real-time scheduling. Players may complete the Week 3 tasks at any point before the end of the season, ensuring that those who start later in Season 1 still have a chance to obtain it.

The scorestreak requires 575 score points to activate during a match. It introduces two optional Overclocks, which modify its performance:

Overclock Function
Extended Mag Expands the drone’s sniper rifle magazine capacity
Grenadier Equips the drone with an additional grenade for targeted strikes

This streak provides long-range aerial support once deployed, rewarding consistent scoring and challenge completion. Week 3’s content also adds other unlocks, encouraging players to participate across multiple activities while working toward the Deadeye Drone. Its accessibility through standard gameplay makes it a practical addition for players who enjoy experimenting with new tactical options in Black Ops 7 Season 1.
