Season 2 has launched in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, bringing new content across multiplayer, battle royale, Zombies, and Endgame. You now have fresh maps, modes, and weapons to explore as the season progresses.
One of the standout additions is the EGRT-17 assault rifle, which has quickly drawn attention from players. You can unlock this weapon through multiple paths, giving you flexibility based on how you prefer to play.
Unlock the EGRT-17 in Black Ops 7 Season 2
You can access the EGRT-17 through the Season 2 Battle Pass without spending money. The rifle sits on the free reward track, so you only need progress, not a premium purchase.
The EGRT-17 appears as the High-Value Target (HVT) reward on Battle Pass Page 6. You must unlock every tier on that page before the rifle becomes available. Each tier requires Battle Pass Tokens, which you earn by playing matches or by buying them with COD Points.
Once you clear Page 6, the game unlocks the EGRT-17 instantly. You can equip it right away in Black Ops 7 multiplayer and Warzone loadouts.
Ways to earn Battle Pass Tokens
- Complete multiplayer or Warzone matches
- Gain match XP through regular play
- Purchase tokens directly with COD Points
If you want a cosmetic upgrade, you can unlock an EGRT-17 blueprint later in the pass. That option appears on Page 14 and also requires full completion of that page.

You can skip Battle Pass progression entirely by purchasing a store bundle. Two bundles currently include EGRT-17 blueprints, priced at 1,800 COD Points and 2,800 COD Points. These unlock the weapon for use through the blueprint, even if you have not reached Page 6.
Store offerings can rotate during the season. Additional EGRT-17 bundles may appear later, but availability depends on the in-game shop at the time you check.
All unlock methods grant immediate access once completed. You do not need challenges beyond Battle Pass progression or bundle ownership.
