WoW Classic Maintenance
As we prepare for the next major update, World of Warcraft will undergo an eight-hour maintenance period on July 9 from 7 AM PDT to 3 PM PDT. This downtime will apply to all versions of the game, providing a necessary pause before the much-anticipated Phase 4 of the Classic Season of Discovery.
Our journey continues with the introduction of significant endgame content. When Phase 4 launches on July 11, we can look forward to revamped Molten Core raids, challenging world bosses, and the exciting Blackrock Eruptions event. This update offers players the opportunity to reach new heights, unlocking Rune Engravings and facing iconic Vanilla WoW bosses.
WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 4 Schedule
We are looking forward to some exciting updates in World of Warcraft Classic with the launch of Season of Discovery Phase 4. To keep you up-to-date, here’s a detailed schedule of what to expect.
Maintenance Period:
- Date: July 9
- Time: 7 AM PDT – 3 PM PDT
This maintenance will complete two days prior to the new phase’s release, ensuring no disruptions when the update becomes live.
Season of Discovery Phase 4 Launch:
- Date: July 11
- Time: 1 PM PDT
Players can dive right into Season of Discovery Phase 4 at this time. This phase will introduce new Rune Engravings and other features to explore.
Instanced World Bosses:
- Date: July 18
- Time: 1 PM PDT
Both Lord Kazzak and Azuregos will become available as instanced world bosses. Players will have a week from the phase launch to achieve the level cap and unlock their Rune Engravings before these bosses become accessible.
Molten Core and Onyxia’s Lair Raids:
- Date: July 25
- Time: 1 PM PDT
Molten Core will be reworked to a 20-person raid, while Onyxia’s Lair will be adjusted to accommodate between 20 to 40 players. This gives raiders considerable flexibility in team size and strategy.
We also anticipate more updates in the future. This phase, although significant, is just the beginning. We are looking forward to entering iconic raids such as Blackwing Lair, Ahn’Qiraj, Naxxramas, and Zul’Gurub in upcoming phases.
