World Of Warcraft Version 11.2.5 Patch Notes

World of Warcraft continues to move forward with new updates that expand gameplay options and refine existing systems. The upcoming 11.2.5 patch introduces a mix of limited-time events, progression features, and quality-of-life improvements that aim to keep players engaged while bridging the gap toward the next expansion.

The highlight of the update is Legion Remix, a seasonal event that allows players to revisit the Legion era with faster leveling, new challenges, and unique rewards. Alongside this, Season 3 of The War Within gains a Turbo-Boost system that enhances gear progression, while interface updates and balance adjustments bring additional polish. Together, these changes set the stage for the game’s next major milestones later in the year.

World of Warcraft Content Update 11.2.7 Patch Notes (October 7, 2025)

Legion Timewalking Remix

The Legion Timewalking Remix event allows players to revisit the Legion expansion in a condensed seasonal format. Characters known as Timerunners can be created as one of the twelve Legion classes, starting at level 10 and progressing up to level 80 at an accelerated pace.

This event introduces unique mechanics, faster progression, and a wide range of collectibles. Participants can earn mounts, pets, and transmog appearances while reliving Legion’s content. Access does not require purchasing an expansion, but progression beyond level 20 requires an active subscription or game time.

Bronze, the event’s special currency, has been adjusted to provide greater rewards across activities:

Activity Bronze Earned
Bronze Caches Significantly increased
Infinite Research Quests +1000 Bronze
Emissary Quests 4000 Bronze
Special Assignment Quests 4000 Bronze
World Quests 200 Bronze

Classic players can join by installing the modern client, while trial accounts may participate until level 20 before subscribing.

Turbo-Boost Enhancements

Season 3 of The War Within introduces adjustments under the Turbo-Boost system, aimed at improving gearing options and progression.

At the launch of 11.2.5:

  • Hero and Myth upgrade tracks now extend from 6 to 8 levels.
  • Crafted gear can be recrafted using an Augmentation Matrix for additional upgrades.

As of the week of October 21, 2025:

  • The Crest cap is removed for the remainder of the season.
  • Valorstones become Warbound, allowing account-wide flexibility.
  • Mythic+ drop rates for Warband Until Equipped items are doubled.
  • Ethereal Voidsplinters can be acquired from Mythic+ dungeons, Manaforge Omega, Delves, and rated PvP, fueling the Catalyst system.

Two new quests expand progression options:

  • Turbo-Boost: Trade Must Flow (one-time quest): Rewards 3 Puzzling Cartel Chips.
  • Turbo-Boost: Infinite Growth (weekly quest): Rewards 1 Puzzling Cartel Chip.

Each character can earn a maximum of 9 Puzzling Cartel Chips. These chips can be exchanged with Fixer So’kir and Fixer So’tho in Dornogal for powerful weapons, trinkets, and cantrip items from Season 3 sources.

Delves also see notable improvements:

  • Increased Delver’s Journey progress and Crest rewards.
  • Higher weekly Valorstones and Crest gains from Delver’s Bounty.
  • Delver’s Bounty now grants companion experience weekly.
  • Tier 9+ delves can drop Champion 1/8 Warbound equipment.
  • Untainted Mana-Crystals drop from Bountiful Coffers in Tier 9+ delves and can be exchanged for Hero track trinkets.

Equipment and Item Adjustments

Several item changes have been introduced to balance gameplay and progression.

  • The following D.I.S.C. Belt effects have had their damage and stat bonuses reduced by 20%:
    • Charged Bolts
    • Charged Crystal
    • Critical Chain
    • Electric Current
    • Spark Burst
    • Static Charge
  • Mark of the Twilight Oath can now be deleted by players.

These adjustments are designed to smooth out power scaling and prevent specific effects from overshadowing other gearing options.

Cooldown Manager

  • A new frame provides organization of spells and buffs.
  • Spells are categorized into EssentialUtility, or Hidden by Default.
  • Buffs can be shown as icons, bars, or hidden.

  • Players can hide their location from this feature via Settings > Social.

  • Hovering over blue frames also shows the frame name as a tooltip.

Additional Interface Changes

  • Spellbook search now suggests Assisted Rotation spells.
  • A tooltip and system chat line show cooldown time remaining before players can vote to abandon a dungeon again.
  • Premade Group Finder fixes:
