Where to Find Well of Echoes in Destiny 2 for Enigma Protocol Mission
To locate the Well of Echoes in Destiny 2 for the Enigma Protocol mission, begin by opening the Director and selecting Nessus. From there, teleport to the Artifact’s Edge landing zone. Upon arrival, turn around and proceed to descend. A path leading to The Tangle will be visible. Follow this path carefully.
Summon your Vehicle, known as the Sparrow, to traverse the distance more efficiently. The Well of Echoes can be identified by its distinct pyramid-like entrance. Once spotted, head inside and drop through the hole in the ground.
Continue along the designated path until you encounter a portal. This portal will transport you to the center of the Well of Echoes. Here, a shielded elite enemy known as Argus, Firewall Guardian, can be found.
To remove Argus's shield, locate and destroy the white glowing cubes scattered around the arena. The cubes are strategically placed as follows:
- First-floor balcony: Two cubes
- Directly above Argus: One cube
- Ground floor behind a pillar: One cube
After deactivating the shield, proceed to defeat Argus. Successfully doing so will unlock a hidden path on the ground. Drop down through this newly revealed path.
At the end of this route, you will come across the starting point for the Enigma Protocol mission. It is important to note that this mission becomes accessible only after completing the prerequisite quest, Mission: Meteoric.
