Warzone Patch Notes July 30

An extensive update for Call of Duty Warzone has been released, aimed at rebalancing the game’s weaponry. This patch brings notable adjustments to various firearms, particularly submachine guns and handguns, which are anticipated to significantly alter the current gameplay meta.

The changes include substantial nerfs to some of the most popular submachine guns, alongside buffs to lesser-used handguns. These modifications are expected to give players new dynamics and strategies to explore, ensuring a fresh and balanced competitive experience.

Weapon adjustments

Submachine guns

Weapon Adjustment
Superi 46 Max Damage Range is now 12.7 meters, reduced from 13.97. The Mid Damage Range has been removed. Min Damage now begins at 25.4 meters, down from 34.3 meters.
RAM-9 The Bruen Heavy Support Grip underbarrel attachment can no longer be equipped without a compatible barrel.

Handguns

Weapon Adjustment
COR-45 Rate of fire increased to 450rpm, up from 240rpm. XRK TR9 Trigger Action: Reduced fire rate penalty to -15%, down from -25%. XRK Lightning Fire Trigger Action: Reduced fire rate benefit to 22%, down from 25%.
TYR Hel’s Reach Short Barrel now prevents incompatible optic attachments from being equipped.

Melee Weapons

Weapon Adjustment
Push Dagger Added heavy swing melee functionality. B.E.A.S.T. Glove Blueprint now includes a ragdoll effect to the heavy swing melee functionality.

Bug fixes

  • Resolved an issue preventing players from seeing the scoreboard or stats tab when opening the Tac-Map.
  • Fixed a bug preventing the Warzone Rewards submenu from updating properly after completing the Resurgence Champion’s Quest challenge.
  • Addressed an issue that blocked activation of armory unlocks for tactical and lethal equipment.

Customizations

  • Reclassified base camos for the STG44 and Static-HV weapons.
