Despite not significantly altering the game balance, TEKKEN 8 update 1.07 introduces notable behavioral adjustments for certain characters. These modifications are important for serious players who use these characters or face them as opponents.

Key changes to observe include:

  • Bryan: The move fF+3 can now be countered with a reversal move.
  • Feng: Moves d+2 and db+1+2,2 have increased hurtboxes, reducing the chances of these moves missing.
  • Hwoarang: The move bu+3 now has larger downward hitboxes, making whiffs less likely.
  • Jack-8: The move df+4 now positions the character differently relative to the opponent when a counter-attack is successful.
  • Kazuya: For the move 4~3, the floor break now only occurs on the final hit.
  • King: The move uf+3+4 has extended hurtboxes to address low whiffs.
