Team Frosty wins first Halo Infinite tournament

The team led by Bradley ‚Frosty‘ Bergstrom has won the first Halo Infinite tournament. The former Halo pro's team consisted of Nick ‚OpTic Maniac‘ Kershner, Ian ‚Enable‘ Wyatt and Dillon ‚Randa‘ Randa. In the final, the Sentinel player's team managed to win over the team of ‚MissLehcar‘. The grand final was finished in best-of-five format. Frosty's team ultimately managed to win it 3-1 and thus claim a large portion of the $50,000 prize pool.

First Halo Infinite Tournament

The Xbox Game Pass has PC Games Invitational is the first official Halo Infinite tournament. Microsoft organized the tournament to promote the Xbox Game Pass. Halo Infinite has been in the spotlight since its release and it is making good use of it. There is a lot of positive attention for the newest edition of the franchise.

This is partly due to the large amount of negativity Call of Duty Vanguard is getting from the pro scene. Many Call of Duty pros are switching to Halo Infinite or criticizing the CDL. The league is not currently complete; a twelfth Call of Duty team has yet to be contracted.

In the first tournament, teams consisting of content creators and Halo players competed against each other. Among others, Zlaner, Summit1g and DrDisrespect captained a team. Because Halo Infinite has cross input, teams could consist of both controller and mouse and keyboard players.

Xbox Game Pass

The Xbox Game Pass is a subscription that players can purchase. The subscription provides access to massive amounts of games in the cloud. There are different types of subscriptions to take out, one for each type of player. For example, you can take out a console subscription where you get access to over a hundred console games. But there is also a PC subscription and even one for console and PC.
