Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Gets Free Goro Majima DLC on April 29
You can add Goro Majima to your roster on April 29, 2026 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET as a free update in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. This version of Majima draws from his portrayal in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (2025), presenting him in his “Captain” persona rather than his earlier appearances in the long-running series.
You race as Captain Majima with a themed vehicle called the Goromaru, designed as a compact pirate ship. The update also includes new emotes and character-specific audio cues that reflect his Like a Dragon spinoff style.
A limited-time in-game event follows immediately after the character release. The Captain Majima Festival runs from April 30 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET through May 3 at 4:59 PM PT / 7:59 PM ET.
While full event details remain undisclosed, previous festivals have focused on unlockable cosmetics tied to the featured crossover. You can expect similar themed rewards earned through regular gameplay.
