s1mple reveals: these five players were the best in 2021

This year's best players S1mple has provided its own top five list following HLTV's list.

After HLTV released its top 20 list of the best players of 2021, with the exception of the top three which will be released tonight at 7pm, there has been a lot of activity in the CS:GO community. HLTV's rankings are seen as an official assessment of the scene, so much discussion tends to crop up.

One person who is very openly giving his opinion on most things is Oleksandr „s1mple“ Kostyliev, who himself said on Twitter that he already knows he's taken the top spot on the list.

On his Twitch channel, the star told that he thinks his teammate Denis „electronic“ Sharipov should be top five after he got a seventh place in HLTV's list.

S1mple's top five is as follows:

• Oleksandr „s1mple“ Kostyliev.
• Dmitry „sh1ro“ Sokolov
• Mathieu „ZywOo“ Herbaut
• Nikola „NiKo“ Kovač
• Denis „electronic“ Sharipov

S1mple's top three are not yet included in HLTV's list, so it is very possible that they will match.
