Pokemon Pokopia: How to Get Bricks

Bricks play a key role in shaping your progress in Pokémon Pokopia. You need them to support construction projects and expand your rebuilt settlements, yet many players still struggle to figure out how to obtain them efficiently.

As you explore the post-apocalyptic Kanto region and work to restore it, gathering the right materials becomes part of your routine. Understanding how brick crafting works helps you move forward with fewer delays and build with confidence.

How to get bricks in Pokémon Pokopia

You need Bricks to construct paved paths, walls, and decorative features around your town. The game does not hand them to you directly, so you must gather materials and rely on a specific Pokémon.

Start by unlocking one of these moves:

  • Rock Smash – taught by Hitmonchan
  • Rollout – learned through Graveler

Next, raise your Trainer Rank to Great. This rank unlocks access to Bleak Beach, the only area where you can collect the required material.

At Bleak Beach, target Clay Blocks and use either Rock Smash or Rollout. Breaking these deposits rewards you with Squishy Clay.

Take the Squishy Clay to Charmander. Charmander processes the material and bakes it into usable Bricks.

Step What You Do Result
1 Learn Rock Smash or Rollout Gain ability to break Clay Blocks
2 Reach Great Rank Unlock Bleak Beach
3 Break Clay Blocks Collect Squishy Clay
4 Give Clay to Charmander Receive Bricks

Follow these steps and you can steadily produce bricks for your building projects.

How You Can Use Bricks

You use bricks as a core construction material when shaping your town in Pokémon Pokopia. They allow you to move beyond basic wooden builds and create sturdier, more defined structures.

Common uses include:

  • Building brick walls for homes and public buildings
  • Laying walkways and paths through town areas
  • Crafting decorative features such as fireplaces and structural accents

Bricks also help you refine the visual style of your settlement. By mixing them with other gathered materials, you create cleaner layouts and more permanent designs that give your world a finished look.
