Season 3 lets you equip Hanzo with the Tokyo Rebel Mythic weapon skin, built around a neon city theme. The bow features vivid purple, pink, and blue tones with gold highlights that reflect the season’s Tokyo-inspired style.
You progress through four upgrade tiers, each adding new visual elements tied to your performance.
- Level 1: A cyber-enhanced bow inspired by a modern ronin, combining tech details with dragon motifs.
- Level 2: Holographic dragon effects grow more elaborate as you secure eliminations.
- Level 3: A unique flourish animation changes how you draw the bow.

Unlocking Hanzo’s Mythic Weapon Skin in Overwatch
You unlock Hanzo’s mythic weapon skin by collecting Mythic Prisms and purchasing it through the in-game Mythic Shop. The weapon includes four upgrade tiers, and each tier requires Prisms to access.
- Level 1 (base version): 50 Mythic Prisms
- Levels 2–4: 10 Mythic Prisms each
- Total required: 80 Mythic Prisms
You can obtain Mythic Prisms in two ways. Buy them directly from the in-game store, or earn them through the Premium Season 3 Battle Pass, which costs 1,000 Overwatch Coins (about $9.99 USD).
After you gather enough Prisms, open the Mythic Shop, select Hanzo’s weapon skin, and complete the purchase. You can preview the weapon before spending your currency, which lets you review its effects and customization levels in advance.
