How to Unlock the Free Nihon Hanzo Skin

Overwatch 2's Season 11 introduces new and returning community-created Twitch drops. Players have the opportunity to collect various rewards, adding some excitement to the season.

By watching community member streams, fans can unlock the Nihon Hanzo skin, the Letter on the Winds Kiriko spray, and the Rose Gold Mercy icon. These items are available at no cost, providing a great incentive for players to engage with the game and its community.

Claiming the Nihon Hanzo Skin and Letter on the Winds Kiriko Spray

To claim the Nihon Hanzo skin and the Letter on the Winds Kiriko spray in Overwatch 2, players need to participate in Twitch drops during specific time frames. The first wave of drops runs from June 20 to June 24, followed by a second wave from June 25 to June 30.

Requirements

  • Nihon Hanzo Skin: Watch any Overwatch 2 stream on Twitch for a total of seven hours.
  • Letter on the Winds Kiriko Spray: Watch for at least three hours.

The Letter on the Winds spray, created by community artist Angela Zeigler, is awarded first, while the Nihon Hanzo skin requires watching for a longer duration. Make sure to connect your Blizzard account to your Twitch account to ensure that viewing times are tracked correctly and rewards are granted seamlessly.

The second wave of Twitch drops

From June 25 to June 30, players can earn the Rose Gold Mercy icon by watching Overwatch 2 content creators. This new icon pairs perfectly with the Rose Gold Mercy skin, offering an elegant and coordinated look. Created by community artist Dani Ellis, also known as OWGrandma, the artwork adds a unique touch to the game.

Viewers need to ensure their Battle.net accounts are linked to Twitch in the connections tab to claim these rewards. Engaging with streams during this period provides a seamless way to expand in-game collections and support the creative community behind these designs. Claim your Rose Gold Mercy icon by watching for just three hours.
