Number 2 in Vanguard Ranked Play accidentally displays cheats

Not everyone earns their stripes in Call of Duty Ranked Play in an honest way. The second highest ranked player ‚pplehx‘ accidentally showed that he uses cheats. During his stream, things briefly went awry, making it clear to all viewers that he was cheating. A tweet from CDL Intel highlighting this caused a stir.

Cheating in Call of Duty is, of course, nothing new. For years, players have tried to gain an unfair advantage over their opponents by using cheats. In recent years, however, it seems to be taking on ever greater proportions. After all, we are all familiar with the many cheaters/hackers in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Still, it remains extraordinary that a high-ranking player chooses to use cheats. That he does so while sharing his gameplay live is even more remarkable. Pplehx is playing Hardpoint on Tuscan during the livestream. The footage shows him being knocked out. He then watches for a few seconds with his teammate. At that point, a small bug takes place, allowing one to see (through the buildings and walls) where the opponents are walking.

In Call of Duty Ranked Play, players do their best to win matches. This allows them to move up to the highest divisions, which shows that you are among the best players. This makes it extra sour to see that there are players at the top who cheat.

In the responses to CDL Intel's tweet, they let it be known that they are not surprised. In addition, the players propose to separate console and PC in Ranked Play: competitive Call of Duty belongs on a console. The higher the division, the greater the chance of running into a cheater/hacker.
