Best Heroes to Counter Estes

Estes, the Moon Elf King, holds the title of one of the most effective support heroes in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. He is highly regarded for his exceptional healing abilities, which make him an invaluable asset in sustaining teammates during battles. His signature skills, including Moonlight Immersion and the amplified version enabled by Blessing of Moon Goddess, provide crucial support and durability to both allies and himself.

In addition to his healing prowess, Estes can deliver notable magic damage and impede enemies with a slowing effect through his passive ability and the Domain of Moon Goddess skill. Despite his strengths, Estes needs to stay close to his team to maximize his effectiveness, which can leave him and his allies open to attacks.

Three Champions that Counter Estes Effectively in Mobile Legends

Atlas

Atlas is highly effective against groups of opponents, making him an excellent choice for neutralizing Estes. This tank hero can disrupt formations by utilizing skills that bring foes closer to his allies. By hiding in a bush or staying within the backline, he waits patiently to engage when Estes‘ team comes together. His ability, Perfect Match combined with Flicker, allows him to quickly close the gap and use Fatal Links to pull enemy heroes toward his team.

For a more surprising approach, Atlas can activate Conceal, offering a stealthy initiation. There's no need to maximize the channeling time of his ultimate; an immediate attack is often enough. When facing opponents equipped with Purify, disengagement is wise while waiting for the cooldowns to reset. Dominance Ice is recommended for reducing regenerative abilities and providing physical defense, while Fleeting Time aids in reducing cooldowns.

If Atlas is unavailable or banned, alternatives like Akai or Jawhead can also disrupt enemy formations effectively.

Baxia

Baxia excels in mitigating healing, thanks to his passive ability, which significantly reduces shield and health regeneration. As a tanky hero, he not only absorbs damage but also counters Estes‘ healing capabilities. Initiating with Baxia-Shield Unity followed by Tortoise’s Puissance allows him to engage Estes directly.

The strategy revolves around pressuring Estes and preventing him from assisting his team. Consistent strikes using Shield of Spirit can isolate Estes from his allies. Equipping Baxia with defensive items enhances his resilience, granting teammates the opportunity to overwhelm opponents. This tactic ensures that healing support from Estes is minimized during key battles.

Luo Yi

For those who prefer a burst damage approach, Luo Yi is a potent option. This mage leverages her yin and yang-inspired skill set to deliver extensive area damage. Her Duality passive triggers formidable reactions that can turn the tide in clashes against groups.

Luo Yi effectively counters Estes by targeting his grouped-up allies. Initiating with Dispersion, adjusted to opposite the color of Rotation, allows activation of the Yin-Yang Reaction. When Estes is among his teammates, casting both Dispersion and Rotation in succession can cause significant disruption.

Deploying Diversion tactically from hidden positions, such as within bushes, surprises foes by attacking from unexpected angles. Equipping Luo Yi with Necklace of Durance further reduces the enemy team's regenerative abilities, thereby amplifying her effectiveness. If Luo Yi is unavailable, Vexana or Pharsa serve as strong alternatives with their wide-range ultimates.
